Narcissistic Nation

I have come to a conclusion that we all are narcissisric. I found myself guilty today of this behavior. My car is having some trouble and instead of taking the bus to work I made it a mission to call everyone I knew for a ride. I honestly felt like why should I take the bus and made every excuse not to get on. I even considered calling off work for the day....

Family

With my family and enjoying their time. Life is short and we must spend as much time and always remind our loved ones that they are loved. Good night all!

Class is almost over

As the last week of composition approaches I have to think back and ask myself what did I get out of the course. I have learned a lot, writing isn't always about putting boring information on paper becasue no on wants to read it. Now, I know to consider who my audience will be and write something that will interest them. Oh and I also learned how to BLOG!!!

Ten Minutes

Ten minutes until midnight and im trying to add my post for the day. Is money worth your happiness? I would have to say "NO" because as soon as the money goes away you are left with reality.... BOOM!

Trouble

I am having trouble with my "Entitlement" paper. The APA format is very particular and demand my full attention. If I dont pay attention and read it over and over again I dont think Im going to get a descent grade.. Ahhhh

Narcissism

I found some new info or should I say different point of view on this topic and think that we should have self esteem, but not to the point where everything else is beneath us. I read an article and found that people need a sense of entitilement to feel good about themselves and to be honest I find nothing wrong with that.

Anxiety

I am very anxious about this composition class. I find it difficult to put words on paper at times. I am going to continue trying and hope the end results pay off. Good night all

Graduation!

My niece is five years old and I attended her graduation this evening. She was so pretty. She is on her way kindergarden. Kids grow up so fast!

Animal Entitlement

I just thought of this. i'm guilty of giving my dog a sense of entitlement. I always s put a shirt on her and now she feels that if she doesn't have a shirt on she will roll around until I put one on her. I know its not the dogs fault, I give her a sense of entitlement. So my fault!

Im I Narsacistic

I kind of stare at myself in the mirror quite a bit. Does that make me narsacistic? Being a woman I feel that other women do the same thing. What do you thing ladies?

New Information

Dawn from the library came in and gave my class some great information. Basically on how to use online resources on books and articles. I definitely felt like a light bulb came on. Great Information!

Older People

Why do older people feel that someone younger should obey them? My stepfather for example thinks that I should run my life in the same way that he does. Really.... His favorite saying "you young folks know nothing". I have to remind him that he was young and disobeyed his parents so its only natural that I disobey him.

Bad parents?

Are we bad parents if we reward our children for good behavior? Does this mean that they will feel entitled to praise or gifts even if they misbehave?

Memorial Day

Men and women who fight for our country and save lives. Every year on the last Monday of May we celebrate memorial day. I have a lot of respect for armed forces, my sister was in the Navy for eleven years she has been around the world and helped to saved many lives. In my opinion some people deserve entitlement.

Entitlement

On a personal level our country had really gone overboard with being so into themselves. I have a four year old cousin who feels that she has to get her nails painted in a salon every two weeks. I'm not to sure who started this trend, but it is over board when a four year old says, "mom I dont car what you are doing today I need a manicure badly" What? Thank goodness I have a son.

Back To Work

I have not been feeling well this week and missed class. Doing better and now I have to get BACK TO WORK!

Confusing???

This law is kind of confusing it says that the law protects a person who feels threatened but it also protects a children. Every time time I read the law it is not clear, so I think that's why some people use it to defend themselves when they are in the wrong.

Stand Your Ground

From the little that I have read about this law it protects a person from criminal accusation if another person imposes bodily harm. So, i can kill someone if they are charging at me, even though, I don't know if that person has a weapon or not. Its a confusing law and i think should apply to those who truly in danger. Let me know how you feel about this.

Writing In My Career

Within a few years I inspire to be a registured nurse in hopes of helping people in need. I'm sure that writing will be a big part of my job because patients must be assesed and from the little that I know about nursing a full report is needed. Writing will help me explain how a patient is feeling and I will be able to let the doctor know in my report in detail, so he or she can assist the patient.

I learned a little something

During the group assignment I learned that marijuana can be used as fuel and many other things. Marijuana is also known as hemp and is grown all over the world legally. I was very stunned when I found this out, so I researched it. I googled a question, "can maijuana be used as fuel?" different sites popped up and said that marijuana can be used for fuel, fiber, paper and much more. The stem which is called sativa is made up of two types one is for industrial use and the other for medicinal use. I have more research to do on this, but for now thats all I have. It's much more than I have known about the drug othr than getting a buzz. The real question still stands why haven't marijuana or hemp been legalized?

FACTS: Domestic Violence

• Most relationships if a person is abused the first time and does not leave. It will take seven more times before he or she finally leaves the situation.
• Abusers are primarily women
• Women ranging from 20-24 are most likely in a abusive relationship
• People who are being abused blame themselves

Question for a friend

I asked a friend of mine, "why do you smoke marijuana?" She was honest with me and let me know that it calms her down. She has recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and is usually always on edge. Always very nervous and over thinking everything. The medications only make her sick so she relies on the marijuana to keep her leveled.

Drugs

Drugs is a big part of my everyday life. My brother-in-law is addicted to OPIATES. It has affected our family tremendously. We worry about him everyday and hope that we don't get a call that he passed away from a overdose.
